Sunny | Boerne Newborn Photographer

Happy Friyay! It's time for another blog post :)

I've been a newborn photographer for over 4 years now and I love it more and more with every session. I'm growing everyday as an artist and investing in quality education and workshops specifically for newborn photographers is something I've focused on this month. There's nothing as enough education when it comes to safety and posing in this business.

I'm so happy to share this beautiful baby's sneak peeks with y'all! This session was such an inspiration for me personally, I don't think I've been this inspired by one of my own sessions for a while now HA! I'm absolutely in love. With the colors, the poses and the sweet little baby. This session definitely set the bar for me and I will strive to beat this in the future.

I also had just gotten brand new backdrops in the studio and some of them have been used in Sunny's photoshoot. The plum backdrop is a personal fave! It's such an unusual color for babies but looks oh so cute and so perfect on her. Even though ivory will forever be my LOVE, I'm digging these deep colors more and more these days! And I hope future mamas are more open to trying out these type of colors for future sessions.

I loved this little munchkins pictures! She was such a doll and so good to me.

Sunny was already 3 weeks old when her mommy contacted me, so I knew that I needed to get her in the studio as soon as possible if I wanted to capture her in the real early stages. I've always been a bit wary before booking older newborns and prefer to book them when they're between 6-16 days old, only because they're so much sleepier and so perfectly curly when they're so young. By no means would I ever say no to an inquiry about an older newborn but it does make me a little nervous for a second. However, Sunny was just a dream! She let me pose her without making a big fuss and was asleep all her session, well until the parent shots HA!

I wanted to share a few sneak peeks from her newborn photography session before delivering the parents their gallery.
